Cyst or boil has been there for months

I'm unsure if its a boil or cyst but I have been stuck with this lump since august 2021! Right before my period it swells up and hurts when I touch it. I can't pop it bc it hurts too bad and that doesn't sound smart to do. I've just been cleaning it with warm water and wear cotton underwear. When Im not on my period it disappears sorta. I can still feel it but it doesn't hurt and I can pinch around it.

Is it a boil, cyst or something I should just try to find professional help for? I'd love any help!

Edit: oh i forgot to mention, its not on the flaps or any hole. It's to the northeast of the clit.
