Genesis for a girl name?

I somehow started liking the name Genesis!  It's so pretty to me.  It could be Gen/Genny for short but I wouldn't want people to see it and say a hard G.  Jenesis maybe?  Does that look weird?  Anyway how do y'all like Genesis!

You also could always do it as a middle name

I went to school with a Girl with the name! Everyone really liked it!!! Completely off topic but I was jealous of how amazing her handwriting was!!!!

Genesis Gia or some other G name and can also call her GG too if you don’t like the Gen/Jen nickname. But I agree if you like the name keep the original spelling, people will know how to say it.

I voted yes but I’m not typically a fan of names that have the nickname “Jen”. I just feel like people often reach for a nickname right away and in this case the nickname would be Jen. Personal preference though I suppose.
