We just had a baby together a month ago. It’s been hard, arguments have gotten more frequent. He told me he’d never hit me out of anger.. ever since I had opened up to him about watching my dad do it to my mom while growing up.

We were arguing, he told me he didn’t care about me, he got in my face and screamed, so I slapped him on the arm. He calms down but the argument continues. He gets worked up again, grabs me by my hair and screams in my face, then he shoves me back on to the bed. Then as I’m getting myself steady so I didn’t fall off the bed, he shoves me off the bed into the wall that’s next to it. I bounce off the wall and I became wedged in between the wall and the bed. I have very painful bruises all over my side, my arm, knee and foot.

I know I might sound ABSOLUTELY INSANE, but I love him so much. I’ve been crazy over him since 8th grade.. I’m 20 years old now. I don’t want to lose him.. I’d be heartbroken. What do I do?
