Smartwatch / health watch
So i've been looking out for a new smartwatch as my birthday is coming up.
I currently have a fitbit charge 3, my husband has a garming vivoactive 3 or 4 I believe, that I got to try out for a couple of weeks.
I'm actually not sure if I should just upgrade my fitbit model, or fine something else entirely.
Maybe some of you can help?
Here's my findings on the fitbit and the garmin, so you have an idea of what's important to me.
The "smart" settings are less important to me. I don't need to link phonecalls, messages, apps to my watch... It's easy but definitely not a priority to me personally.
I like to have the most accurate heart rate counts and well recorded sleep monitoring, because I tend to sleep too little and I need to actually pay attention to it.
To my experience my fitbit is more accurate in both over the garmin.
However my fitbit's screen is not readable during daylight outside. And I've noticed a few rows of pixels just stopped working.
What was very easy about the garmin is I liked the functionality, the layout and the menu's.
I liked that you could lock the screen (because our baby is constantly messing with our watches). What I didn't like with the garmin, if you didn't select an activity ahead, it will ask you after 10 minutes of activity, if you're let's say are driving a bike, I can't actually confirm because I've got no hands free, but also if you're in activity mode you can see every little minor detail about your training EXCEPT the actual time.. So I often chose to not start an activity which in turn didn't log correctly... In comparison to the fitbit who logs every sporty activity over 10 minutes.
