Concern for Missed Miscarriage

I went yesterday for my first OB appointment since finding out I was pregnant ending of January…I tracked ovulation and was supposed to be 9 weeks and 5 days…however the doctor had me measuring 7 weeks and 1 day…she said she did not see any heartbeat and asked me to do a HCG test and then another one 48 hours later.

She seemed really calm and basically did not tell me I have had a miscarriage which I am not sure why because it sounds like one from what I have read…I’m still hoping and praying for something different but it is killing me that I still have not received my HCG results from Monday and I’m supposed to go get another one done tomorrow…and I’m thinking of taking a pregnancy test to see if there is a difference on how dark the line…the last one I took was my dye stealer

I’m just so confused because this is my first pregnancy and my first time hearing about a missed miscarriage…I have not had any crazy cramping, spotting or bleeding…I feel like once she told me she did not see a heart best…I’ve just been numb and confused….please any advice and prayers would be so helpful. I cannot imagine having to take any pills or surgical route based on things I have read…God please help me
