Worried and scared, cord insertion
My baby girl has been measuring small my entire pregnancy. I went for a growth scan today and every other scan they’ve claimed her umbilical cord was normal. Well I found out today that she has either A. A marginal cord insertion or B. A velamentous cord insertion. She’s measuring over two weeks behind and not weighing what she should.
My idiot self looked it up (as every pregnant mama does) and I know this isn’t good news.
Any other ladies out there have this happen with their babies? What was the outcome? I’m terrified. :(
Edit to add: I’m 30 weeks 3 days, she’s measuring not even 28 weeks…and only weighing 2lbs 7oz. She’s also dropped and is using my cervix as a pillow basically. 😅
