Baby shower at 35 weeks?

Question

Due to scheduling issues, I won't be able to have my baby shower until I'm 35 weeks. Anyone else think this is cutting it a little close? This is my first baby so I'm not sure if I will go into labor early, late, or on time. Just nervous I won't have enough time to prepare inbetween the shower and actually giving birth. 😟

Ill be 36 weeks when I have mine!  So I see nothing  wrong with it

I'll be having my shower when I'm around 33 weeks or so. You should be fine but even if not you'll still get everything you need because you'll have the shower to go to after you could change it to a coming home party if the baby decided to come early. But honestly I think you'll be fine just very pregnant!!

We are doing ours at 36 weeks. I had to plan around my siblings which was a little frustrating and I've had dreams where he or she has come early and I didn't have anything 😏 I'm sure I will go at least 40 weeks so I'm trying not to worry Abt it

I think you'll have enough time! My only concern would be the distance between the shower and the hospital you're planning to have your baby in. Just in case. But in terms of baby prep, you might have your baby early but you miiiight even have your baby up to 7 weeks after your shower!
