What was your babies heart rate the first ultrasound?

At 6w6d baby's heart rate was 126 at 8w it was 160. Some people like to say this is a good determination of the sex? Any stories?

Not sure if the heart rate is linked to sex for sure (I think that may be an old wives tale sort of thing) but at 7w it was 123, 12w was 168...found out last week I'm having a boy.

Mine was 120 beats per minute at 6weeks and 1 day! 
​I have my next appointment in 3 weeks, I will be 10 weeks and 2 days! :)

My first us at 7w the heartbeat was 178. The next one at 10w4d was 162. And it's stayed about that and I'm now 13w3d. (I use a fetal Doppler to check on baby ;)

My first was 188. Since than it has been 169, 158, and 158 again at 20 weeks! Super high. If wives tails are right, we have a girl!

It is linked to sex, but doesn't work until your further along

Hr was always high so I thought baby would be a girl.  Found out at 18 weeks baby is a boy - I don't think heart rate works for predicting gender.  It will work 50% of the time!
