Terrible end to a terrible week

So my period arrived today; two days earlier than I expected. Didn't even have a chance to test, was going to do it in the morning 😔 rounds out the end of a terrible week that begun with having to put down my very beloved cat, struggling really hard with my depression & it's been stinking hot which has made everything seem worse! Was really hoping that this would be our light right before Christmas, we both really needed some good news & something to be thankful for. Would have been the best Christmas present ever. Oh well, it obviously wasn't meant to be 😔
