How close to your ovulation day did you have sex?

For those of you that used an app to track your cycle and ovulation. How close to ovulation day did you have sex when you conceived?  Have you found out the gender?  
For me it was 3 days prior to the ovulation day on my app. I’m now 6wks and 5 days.
