Anterior placenta — do/did you have one?

Found out at my 20-week anatomy scan today that I have an anterior placenta. Has anyone else experienced this? When did you get to start feeling  baby move, and did you still get to feel strong kicks/movements? Appreciate any insight!

I did with my first. I started feeling movement around 22 weeks or so. I honestly never felt really strong kick or anything the entire pregnancy. Since it was my first I didn’t know any different.

I started feeling strong movements at 23 weeks, and my husband was able to feel her too. before that it just felt like flutters or gas but at my 20 week scan they also said she was facing my back and with the anterior placenta I wouldn't feel until she moved. now that she moved I feel her through out the day sometimes stronger than others

I had an anterior placenta and started feeling flutters around 21 weeks. But as she got bigger I felt her less. There were many times I had to lie on my side and really concentrate to feel her move. But there were times when she would really get moving and I could feel her really well. I will say I slept pretty good because I never felt her at night. Ever. Which was scary but she’s almost 2 now, and perfectly healthy.

Yea I also have that and I still feel her at 22 weeks and bigger movements at 24 weeks.

Yes, started around 22 weeks to feel baby consistently every day, 24 or so to feel her a lot. And maybe 28 or so to have others feel baby, and even that was hard bc you have to time it right. Was kinda tricky!

Currently pregnant with my second (36 weeks and 5 days). I have an anterior placenta this time and started feeling movement at 20 weeks. Baby is very active and you can feel and see everything. Personally I didn’t find my experience to be a whole lot different than my first that was a posterior placenta.

I have an anterior placenta and started feeling movements around 18 weeks! Husband was able to definitively feel movements by 26 weeks… Now 39 weeks 5 days and baby never stops moving🥰

I had one with my first and I felt his small movements at 16-18 weeks but couldn't feel the more noticable ones until 20+ weeks
With this one I don't know where my placenta is but I felt small movements at 15 weeks and nothing sense then and I'm 16 weeks 3 days

I do! I started feeling her around 21ish weeks, and my husband could feel her around 24 weeks. I’m currently 29 weeks, and can see the movements, kicks, and all the things! She’s also my first if that helps!
