When baby outgrows stuff...

We have one child. When they outgrow major things, like the infant car seat / infant stroller combo for example ... do you hang on to it for hopeful baby #2? Or do you get rid of it ? And then re-buy if you become pregnant?

I want to try for baby two but I will likely have to persuade husband to not prevent it.

Do you set a time frame on how long you’ll not prevent or try for before getting rid of the stuff? What do you do? My husband is super clean neat freak type and will likely hate having extra stuff hanging around once the baby outgrows it... thanks for your help !
