Cradle cap rash

Tiff • Baby number 2 is on the way.
My little one has cradle cap which has gone into her eyebrows and now cheeks and ears. It's really flakey and red now and looks really dry :( what's the best thing to use on her little face in anyone's experience? Thanks

Coconut oil worked for me. Rubbed a little on and used a soft brush. She hasn't gotten it again.

Clean it with soap and water on the face with a clean cloth each time.  Try to remove as many of the flakes as you can while being gentle. Put some coconut oil on it to keep it moist. On the head comb out the flakes or use a soft bristle brush and rub against the grain of the hair to get the flakes out then coconut oil. Once you notice it getting dry again repeat. Once it's gone use the oil to keep it moist at least every other day and make sure your getting all the soap out of the hair every time you wash it. 😊

My lo had it. It started out near the line of her hair. I religiously comb/remove it n used aquaphor. Basically remove flakes with comb then apply aquaphor. That removed it and stopped it from spreading more to her head. Then she got it at her eyebrows! This, I applied breastmilk on it every time I nurse her n it dissapeared the next day. She still occasionally gets the ones on the eyebrow but normally goes away the second day. I guess it helps tht I try to treat it before it gets bad. My SIL however swears by the noodle&boo ointment!  First pic was before on eyebrows. Second was the day after! Red inflamed was gone. They say breastmilk cures everything I guess that's why some moms actually turn their oversupply breastmilk to soap 😃

I haven't tried it but I've heard coconut oil helps to moisturize it.
