False positive pregnancy test…

Today I was late on my period and decided to take a test and see…I took the first one and within a minute it was a positive. I got a digital test with my husband and it said ‘pregnant’ then I took a second later about 6 hours after because I thought oh I have 2 let me take the second…tell me why my second test was a negative and said not pregnant. I was so confused and started crying. I went to the ER and they said it was a false positive….I am so sad. I don’t know what to do or think any more! :( Anyone relate? Have any tips? I feel lost.
