Posterior to anterior?

Question

Is it possible for your placenta to go from posterior to anterior this late? My placenta has been posterior my entire pregnancy(I have had weekly ultrasounds since 32 weeks). I had my ultrasound yesterday and I just got my MyChart results and it says that my placenta is anterior? Last week it was still posterior. I am 37 weeks this week so just don’t know if it would change this late? Wondering if maybe the tech entered the information in wrong?

Usually no.
Placenta can go fundal, so basically move up when uterus is streching, but it doesn't travel round.

No, it can’t. Your placenta never actually “moves”, but as your uterus stretches and grows, it can end up in different locations. It would not almost completely flip sides in a short time that late in pregnancy.
My placenta with my first with anterior and low-lying at 20 weeks, but was lateral to my right side and away from the cervix by 32 weeks, just by the way my uterus stretched.
