Cardiologist referral?

I'm 21 weeks pregnant and at my 20 week apt my doctor ordered an EKG, blood work and 24 hour urine collection because my blood pressure has been all over the place during the pregnancy. My EKG showed a high heart rhythm and the OBGYN thinks I have sinus tackycardia. They got me an appointment with a cardiologist. Has anyone else had to see a cardiologist whil pregnant?

I see a cardiologist because I've developed an abnormal heart rythym during pregnancy. My heart beats in trigenemy which means I have an extra beat. It's very scary sometimes. I actually cried to my OB the other day because I am so afraid my heart is going to go nuts during delivery and I'm going to end up in cardiac arrest. They've said I can be put on a beta blocker but I'm so scared to harm the baby. I am 27 weeks tomorrow. Can't wait for the next 13 weeks to go by!!!

I saw one today! I had an ultrasound on my heart and am wearing a Holter monitor for 7 days. This is my second monitor while pregnant.

I see one because after my last daughter was born,about two years ago,I had a heart attack.Now I'm 24 weeks with a boy.So far everything seems ok but usually after baby is when I have the trouble again.

I have supraventricular tachycardia & see a cardiologist. I'm on a beta blocker from high heart rate. Symptoms are better after extra hydration and in severe cases like mine, medication. Good luck. It's not a bad thing.
