Waters leaking?

Question

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has had a leak in their second trimester?
I’ve had a couple gushes of water (at least that’s what I think that’s what it is) only small amounts but the midwife wants me to get checked.
This will be with a speculum and swab but I’m actually more scared of that.
Nothings been up there since I got pregnant 🙃 im a bit scared. 17 weeks.
Any advice or has anyone had this done?

I've never had this myself but from what I understand it can happen but there's a lot of water in there so the baby probably still has plenty of fluid and I think it can replenish itself so I'm sure you'll go on to have a long and health pregnancy

it’s just like getting a pap smear or a transvaginal ultrasound. you gotta know if your water is leaking

Just keep relax and also they gonna probably use metal which is cold
