7 wks and baby nor heartbeat found on ultrasound

I’m about 7wks5 days and I went for an abortion consultation at a family planning center, which included an ultrasound to determine how far along I am/ if I’m having a progressive pregnancy in order to move forward with the pill or other procedures.. the nurse told me there was nothing seen on the ultrasound & no heartbeat was detected & around 7 weeks they should be able to see something. She basically told me I was not having a progressive pregnancy and I shouldn’t move forward with abortion but I was wondering if it’s just simply too early to see something? I know most doctors won’t see you until 8-9weeks anyway. My primary clinic, where my pregnancy was confirmed didn’t schedule me for my 1st ultra until 4/3. I actually wanted to take the abortion route and I’m worried time is running out to take the Pill method (can take up to 10wks) and I’ll be stuck with a baby by an emotionally/mentally abusive person.
