Unusual Spotting

I had sex a week ago on cycle day 8 and have been lightly spotting every day since, except for the 31st. I wasn’t spotting for most of the yesterday until I had some “me time” (nothing rough or internal) but this time the blood was ok right red and looked like period blood. This is VERY unusual for me. I rarely spot between my cycles and NEVER this much. Has this happened to anyone else? Any advice? We are trying to conceive and, at first, I thought the spotting was a good sign but now I’m thinking otherwise. My cycle isn’t due for another 9 days.
