I'm currently 27 weeks with my first. Everyone keeps telling me that I will want my mom in the delivery room with me. I have never imagined my mom being in the delivery room with me, I've never wanted it. Even when I was a kid and imagined having kids I always just thought that my husband would be the only one in the room with me. I still feel the same way, i really want my husband to be with me and I really don't want my mom in the room (at least not constantly and not when I'm actually delivering). And I do have a good relationship with my mom, she's not horrible or anything but I know that my husband is a more relaxing and calm person. My mom and I are both the opposite of calm and relaxed! We panic and overreact about everything!
