Hysterectomy

I’ll be 28 this year and have had two kids so far. I’m done having kids and really want a hysterectomy. I’m scared to bring it up to my OB cause I’m worried she won’t agree to it because of my age but I am %1000 done having kids. I cannot mentally handle another child. Since I know I’m done, I’d like to just skip birth control (hate that stuff) and just get a full hysterectomy done and never have to worry again. Has anyone on here got one done around my age and what was your experience like? Pls no judgment. I’m certain of my decision.

Just for extra info, the reason I want a hysterectomy instead of tubal ligation is because I am high risk for cervical cancer so I’d just like to remove it all for peace of mind sake.
