How to help baby sit up?

I know babies learn when they are ready but I'm sure a little support will help! How can I help my baby over time sit up? He is 5 months. My daughter started sitting up at 5.5 months old on her own! I forgot how to help how haha.

There's those sit me floor seats for babies. 
You can also just sit behind baby while they sit up and just have them practice trying to keep their selves up. 
Don't forget, every baby is different. Even your own children are different. 
My 1st was more advanced than my 2nd, but I never stressed about it. 
Your little one will get there. Just keep practicing.

Don't. It's bad for their back if they're not ready or strong enough yet. Let them build core strength and sit up when ready.

Tummy time. Lots of tummy time.
Sitting on your lap. 
When babe is on their back, have them hold your fingers. Let them pull themselves up like a sit-up. Don’t pull them or force it. 
And patience until their core is strong enough! 
Most babies don’t sit unassisted until 7-9 months. Every baby is very different.

Often times I would sit with baby in between my lap on the floor, or place them on the floor with boppi pillow around their back side.
