So I just lost my virginity yesterday. My boyfriend and I went a little rough and I noticed that I broke my hymen/tore a bit. I've been sore and in a little pain all day. I looked down there and saw a little tear....how long does it take for the pain to go away and tear to heal?

I can take a few days typically for pain to go away and up to 2 weeks for a tear to heal properly. Continuing to have sex before it heals will prolong the healing process.

after my first time i was sore for almost a week and a half. if the tear is tiny you should be fine vaginas are resilient lil things. if it doesn’t fully heal within a few weeks i would go get it checked out.
