Bub is now four days old! (He was four days late) and being a first time mum I’m looking for some input.

How bad does breast feeding hurt the first week? Once he’s on it’s okay but for the first 20/30ish sec it’s absolutely painful.

I make sure he has a wide latch when going on but at this point my nipples are so sore being hard and cold hurts. My soft t-shirt on them hurts. So of course him getting a meal is going to hurt right. But did I do something wrong to make them this way?

Before they were sore if his latch wasn’t wide enough and it hurt I would break the suction but it’s still got to this point.

Any tips? Is this normal?
