Leaking amniotic fluid?? 40 weeks

I’m 40 weeks Is this amniotic fluid I’ve changed my underwear before this and i also had this same fluid on it every time I wipe dry it comes back I’ve been losing my mucus plug since yestuday could it just be discharge from that ? I went to l&d today and they swabbed me to check and it came back negative but it wasn’t as constant of a leak as now

Get checked. I had a slow leak with my first pregnancy and when they found out at my next apt I had to rush to the hospital to get induced and I ended up getting an infection as well. Doesn’t hurt to make sure your not leaking

Amniotic fluid will smell kind of like chlorine or bleach if that helps. Wear a pad so you can monitor it a little better and call your provider if it continues. If you want to move things along, do some squats 😅

A good way to check if your water is really broke is to stand over the toilet and cough, if it really is broke, you will see a stream of amniotic fluid.

If it keeps on coming when you move around, then might be, get checked.
But also more discharge is normal at pregnancy. So could just be watery discharge.
