One day period- early menopausal

I usually have 3 day periods. Starts with light spotting on day 1, then heavy flow on day 2 then light brown spotting on day 3. Is that normal/common? Most of my friends have 4-5 day periods with normal flows. Also I’m concerned that in the last few months it’s went down to 2 days. Normal flow on day 1 then brown spotting on day 2, then done.

This past month I only had a 24 hour period which is very strange. I cried non-stop the day after my period because we are now on cycle 3 of TTC for baby #2. I was having anxiety and crying spells about my fertility because most people I know get pregnant without trying and never had this issue. I am 28 and early aging runs in my family. My moms period stopped at 40 and I always wonder I’m going to go through it even earlier than that. My heart tells me this is going to be a very long journey and I’m already reading into IVF. I know it’s very expensive and don’t want to jump into it just yet but it’s definitely something I’ll consider if we cannot get pregnant within a year. For my first it took us 7 months but it felt like forever. We were shocked and couldn’t believe it & I cried of joy. I also prayed hard for this baby and honestly believe prayer helps also but my anxiety about menopause and infertility is having me suffer these days.
