Teaching to sit

How did you teach your babies to move into the sitting position?

My son is 5 months old and just recently he has been able to sit unassisted but closely monitored (he still throws himself to the side and falls over). Which is amazing!

But i want to help him learn to move into the sitting position. He HATES tummy time so i try to encourage the physical development in other ways if i can (he prefers the mentally stimulating activities 😂)

I don’t expect him to catch on right away (even though he seems eager to learn) but even if its for me to get into the habit or learn so once he is able to learn it, i have the knowledge and tools to teach him.
