Should we do a gender or wait till birth?

Ughhhhh

So my fiance and I decided before we found out what we were having that we were going to keep it a secret until birth. With our 3rd we successfully kept her name a secret for 4 months (including my 5and7 year old) till birth and surprised everyone and his family cried because she's named after great grandma who passed a few year back. Anyway, we found out we are having a boy after 3 girls.

He ended up telling his two best friends what we are having because he's too excited and his friend with two daughters is having a boy too 🤦🏼‍♀️ he said they wouldn't say anything but I know stuff slips. At our daughters birthday party this weekend he spilled the beans that we know the gender then everyone started questioning us and I'm a bad liar so I just stayed quiet. Then he tried to change the story to his mom that we don't know and she glared at me and I looked away. Then he told another friend he works with and I'm just like wtf! I thought we weren't telling anyone??? Then my daughter told his step sister because she's upset we are having a boy even though she promised she'd keep it a secret. So maybe his dad's side might know if stepsister said anything.

Do you think we should just do a gender reveal before everyone finds out? Because I just want it to be a surprise to everyone. Or do you think we should try to wait till birth? I'm really annoyed he is having such a hard time keeping his mouth shut but I know he is over the moon excited to have a son.
