Low lying placenta

I had a complete previa at 22 weeks, and now at 34 weeks my placenta is 1.7cm away from my cervix! 🙌🏻 Most docs would do a c-section if it’s less than 2cm away from the cervix, but my OB said that’s “old school” and too conservative. I know at least 1 doc in the practice I go to would do a c-section; but at least 2 others I’ve met with say they’re comfortable with me trying a vaginal delivery. Anybody else deliver vaginally with a low lying placenta (less than 2cm)? How did it go?
