Why should I do

My son is 1 month old and is currently on Enfamil A.R. He was doing good on it for about 2 weeks, but lately he’s been in a lot of pain. I make sure and burp him every 2oz and keep him sitting up for 10 mins after eating, but He screams non stop after every feeding , spits up, and arches his back like his stomach his hurting. I can even hear his stomach gurgling and making noises. I hate to see him in so much pain just because he eats. Should I switch his fourmula or what should I do?

My son had reflux so we switched to enfamil gentlease and switched his bottles to Dr. browns.  Dr also suggested a crib safe incline pad which we bought and also more frequent meals with less ounces. All these things I think worked together and he was much happier. If that doesn’t work I’d look into a chiropractor who specializes in pediatrics. You wouldn’t believe what a simple adjustment can do for babies digestive system.

My girl had bad reflux and what worked for us was prescribed famotidine and enfamil gentle ease. She had a dairy intolerance for a little over 3 months and we used nitramigen until we tested out dairy again and put her on gentle ease. I never tried the AR so I can’t give any opinions on that since it’s specifically made for reflux babies.

He may be lactose intolerant. See if they will try the nutramigen or Elle care for him or some sort of soy formula
