Hot baby🔥

This will be our first summer with our baby boy. We made our second bedroom in our apartment into his room which is great; the only issue though is it gets incredibly hot in that room because it faces the sun and doesn't have an ac or ceiling fan. The solution my husband has was use a portable air conditioner but the one we have takes up a lot of space and I'm also a pusspuss about having him in an air conditioned room all night bc he just naturally sweats in his sleep. Does anyone have any suggestions? Anything would be greatly appreciated.
