Recently made a post about my son. I’m not one to do ask for things, this is so embarrassing for me but my son needs epipens. We have 1 but they said we need at least two and I can’t afford it.. does any know where in NS I can get help with this?

Sorry :(. I know they are expensive I have them myself. It’s really insane. So here’s some options to help because I had to do a bunch of research myself.
- Goodrx has epipen coupons. 
- Also there’s an alternative epinephrine pen called “Auvi-Q” (Google it). The manufacturer has a patient assistance program and in general it’s just cheaper than the regular Mylan EpiPen brand. If you qualify for the patient assistance program you might even get it free. 
- The other option is the generic AdrenaClick - if you get the hundred dollar coupon from the manufacturer website, it’s only $10 at CVS for a two pack. 
Overall always go to the manufacturer website and there’s numbers that you can call and ask about coupons and patient assistance programs. I found that they almost always have coupons but a lot of people don’t realize you can go directly to the manufacturer to request them. And the patient assistance program with auvi-q could be helpful

I think its disgusting that some countries dont provide medicine for people especially children - how this isn't classed as essential the child could die ! In UK we get everything like this free as many as the child needs when you run out you just phone Dr's and they said a prescription to pharmacy and you pick it up the next day ! .. I hope you manage to get one .. I hope your baby is okay x
