Still can’t decide on boy name…

A new name has come into the mix. It was originally planned for the middle name, but my husband likes it for a first.

He wants to use my maiden name as a first name. Which I do agree would make a good first name - BUT I never changed my name when we got married. So while I’m perfectly comfortable with it as a middle name, I don’t love it as a first.

I just think of parent teacher conferences, for example, and if they’re like James’ mom Mrs. James. (That’s not actually my name, just using “James” as an example).

Am i over thinking this?
