Tips on cutting baby’s nails?

My 11-month-old raptor will not sit still any longer for the little clippers and I can’t take advantage of naps because she will wake up if I tried. The baby nail files only split and sharpened her nails. I’m this close to letting her just be feral. Haha.
How do you ladies do it? Please share your strategies.

I have my mom do them 😂 
For me he runs and squirms like a wild animal. For her he sits on her lap and lets her do it without a fight. 
I read somewhere to have someone that isn’t their primary caregiver do it and it’s worked wonders for us!

Letting her be feral I love it 😂😂😂. My son loves to eat so literally just today I gave him some frozen fruits to gnaw on and trimmed his nails then.
