SGA 33 weeks

Our little one was diagnosed SGA at our 33 week appointment at 3lbs 14oz and I'm extremelly anxious (FTM)! OB said everything looks fine and both her and the MFM believe he's just small, not IUGR. I can't help but seeing that he dropped in percentiles since the 24w scan at 22%. My placenta is also grade II/III already but flow is good. My diet for blood sugar prevents me from eating as much as I did before. Did anyone go through all of this and baby turned out OK? I'M 5'6" and my husband is 5'11" so we're not exactly small.
