What did labour feel like without water breaking

What did it feel like when you started going into labour? My contractions are getting reslly close together and almost at the 5-1-1 rule , what else did you guys feel like besides contractions if ur water wasn’t broken yet?

Just stronger more frequent contractions. My water didn’t break both times until I started pushing

I actually didn’t feel my contractions at all until the doctor broke my water. I was induced and contracting consistently when admitted, but didn’t know it. I dilated to 4.5 before they broke mine and that’s when the pain hit. I was on my second round of pitocin and the contractions were truly horrible.

Just super intense contractions. Mine never became consistent. Even when I was fully dilated and pushing my contractions were anywhere from 2-6 minutes apart.
My water broke about 40 minutes before baby was born but I started having contractions 23 hours before that.

The only way I knew it was real labor and not more prodromal labor was that I had my bloody show that morning and I started getting nauseous with each contraction so I knew I was already hitting transition
