Is it as bad as it sounds?

So I’ve always known I want 2 kids and I want them close together I have a 7 month old daughter now. My best friend has 2 boys one is going on 4 and one is 18 months and hearing her talk about feeling run down, wanting to get away, needing a break from the boys, wishing she didn’t have her second so soon it makes me second guess my wants for my life and family. Is having 2 kids just painful? Awful? Not worth it?

I've got 4 kids and I'm knackered! I never get a break, never any time to myself, I've got a constant headache, sometimes I wonder why I had so many kids, it gets overwhelming at times. BUT.. here I am, pregnant with #5! no regrets! Yeah I'm massively sleep deprived, yeah I'd love to have even just an hour or 2 by myself for some peace, but I wouldn't change it for the world. They don't stay little forever, the hard times and sleepless nights will pass 💯🌸 
I did find going from 1-2 the hardest part if I'm honest. My eldest 2 are 2 years apart. It just takes a bit of getting used to. Going from 2-3, then 3-4 made no difference to me, and I doubt going from 4-5 will make any difference but we'll see. 
If you want another then don't let that put you off how she feels, everyone is different. Kids are knackering no matter how many you have, she probably just worn out and needs a good night's sleep 😴

I have 3 under 3. 2 under 2 wasn’t bad. But the third so close in age without any family support to babysit has made life really hard for us.

I have two kids, 4 and 16 mo. My second is demanding and very needy and that has been hard for sure but I don’t in any way regret having them with this age difference, more positives than negatives for us for sure! They play a ton and love each other so much. It’s so much fun. It’s more mentally draining than I expected, someone needs something from me all the time it’s like they tag team ha but getting into routine and generally caring for them was easier than I expected.

I seen a beautiful lady walking today without a care in the world (mind you she may have lots to care about but her walk said "freedom."). She looked like a model and I was walking behind her covered in food residue from my toddler with my hair untouched, probably half matted, and literally didn't brush my teeth. I smelled like mashed potato and prunes. 
I'm imagining what will come of me after the 2nd arrives.... 
But listen some moms out there are literally super heroes 👏 and I'm sure you'll be rocking it. Once you know you can, you CAN!

Mine are 17 months apart. The first 6 months were definitely rough. Not gonna lie about that. However it gets so much better and I have zero regrets having them so close together. I think it all depends on the level of support and help you have. My husband is very hands on and we have a lot of family around to help when needed.

My oldest was 3.5 when my second was born and it wasn’t that bad of a transition, and we’ve had a pretty good experience with 2 kids. Now I’m due with my third in 4 weeks and I’ll be honest, I’m pretty nervous about having 3 kids.

Sounds like she's burnt out and just needs a break. My boys are 4 and 2 and I absolutely love it! Yes there are some days I'm questioning why I thought two kids sou ds so great. But honestly at the end of the day I am so thankful I have the both of them and they have each other. Having a second really did complete our family. But I also just truly love the chaos lol. It makes me appreciate life that's for sure.

Once you get in a routine it isnt terrible. Any number of kids in stressful.
