Lyme vaccine in dogs

One of my dogs recently died from kidney disease caused from Lyme disease (I posted about it before), the vet wants us to vaccinate our other dog. But I’ve been doing research on it and there’s a lot of negative side effects, and it’s not super effective. I was wondering if anyone on here has gotten it for their dog/have any thoughts about it? At the end of the day I trust my vet first, but I also want to make sure I’m making the right decision for my dog, and I’m more worried about her health since loosing our other dog.
