I had preeclampsia with my first. Gestational hypertension with my second-borderline preeclampsia.

I’m 5 days postpartum-bp has been drastically high 150’s/100’s. Blurry vision. Called the nurse and they saw me immediately. I have elevated liver enzyme’s but my platelets are normal. I was sent home and put on blood pressure medicines. But in the past few hours my vision has changed-I can barely see anything cause of how blurry it is. I go back on Friday for another BP check but I’m calling first thing tomorrow because my vision changed.

Has anyone developed hellp post partum?

I’m terrified. The nurse came in and said my live enzymes were elevated and that they may send me to the hospital. Does anyone know how this would be treated if I did get admitted?

I was so flustered I didn’t think to ask the nurse.

I can’t stand the thought of being away from my two kids😭
