Membrane sweep? Any successful stories?

Im 38 weeks and 5 days I have an appointment on Monday and I was told I could get a membrane sweep then, I wanted to ask here if you guys have had one done? Any successful stories?

It’s only likely to work if you’re dilated! 
With my second I was dilated to a 1 or 2 and my midwife stretched me to a 3-4 and I was able to be admitted that day.

I had one at 39 weeks and went into labor the next day. It really just depends who because I know a lot of people that have had them and had no luck

Once was in labor within a couple hours 
And 2 other times within a couple days

Got one at 39w went into labor 24hrs later right after me and my husband had sex. Cramps started and never went away. Good luck.
