39 weeks and closed cervix & no diulation

I’m due May 2. I had what I expected to be my last appointment today. When the doctor checked she said my cervix was still closed with no dilation and I had to make another appointment to come back on May 2nd. She couldn’t do a membrane sweep since baby is not low enough and the cervix is closed. I was a little bummed because I was hoping to have some progress although I know I have a week before I’m due. I’m planning to use this week to try and do what I can to help get baby ready! Lol I hope to get the “prego” pizza this Friday (I did this 3 days before my due date and my daughter arrived as they said after 3 days. Lol) and told my husband it’s time to put sex into overdrive! Lol

What are you all doing to help with getting labor started and cervix open?
