Pregnancy test

This is my first time of using glow while ttc our first baby. My period is due next Thursday but today it's telling me to take a pregnancy test and I always thought you had to wait till your period was due? I don't want to take it to early is glow right do I take it now or wait until next week? Thanks in advance x
