Question about ear infections

LO is about 13 months old, and unfortunately got an ear infection so she’s been on amoxicillin a 10 day course. We’re on day 7, but I’m a bit concerned because she’s been grabbing her ear today and seems fussier. I know the antibiotics are in her system. She has the diarrhea and everything. Last night I know she didn’t get the full dose.

Husband decided he wanted to try to give her medicine to her 🫠 and she spit about half of it out. So now I’m worried this ear infection is coming back. No fever or anything, still on antibiotics. Just worried.
