Any Insight On This?

Hey guys, I was supposed to start my period on Wednesday (yesterday). In the morning I spotted brown in a very small amount so I took it as it’s about to be full blown by evening. Well, today, still very small amount of brown spotting and something nothing. Has anyone experienced this and got pregnancy? Hubby thinks it may be Implantation bleeding but I think it’s a bit late for it? Also negative hpt
