Teething??

Question

Baby (11+4) cries, unsettled, short naps, chews her hand like mad and dribbles all over to the point her top gets soaked through even if I put a bib on top - she soaks through both of them. Also the second she's not held she gets unsettled. Also when anybody but me or very occasionally partner holds her. Is this another one of the famous growth spurts or can she be teething?

Try this if you haven’t! My little one has a dozen teethers and this one is by far her favorite. She needs help holding it sometimes, but will gum it like crazy for seemingly endless periods of time! It’s super soft & the texture is really soothing on the gums.

Same boat here. Little hands get sucked like crazy and drool everywhere, but he won't take a dummy or teether instead. Keeping hands clean is the best I think.

My son has a bottom tooth coming in he was born February 8th my girls also got teeth early and at this age my first had 2 bottom teeth coming in he's drooling like crazy and chewing on his little hands and blanket

Idk if you’ve seen the app the wonder weeks, but 11-12 weeks is a developmental leap when babies are first recognizing smooth transitions. Could be your little one is trying to self soothe from all the new experiences.

Mine is 11+4 too and going through the same thing with excessive drool and chewing on hands so I'm curious as well. When I feel his gums I don't think there's anything yet but maybe teeth are coming soon lol. From what I've read online teething can start as early as 3 months, but that's just coming from dr.google. I tried giving him a teething ring yesterday but he wouldn't take it.
