Is this a common thing?

So I've recently starting seeing this doctor & him & I will probably get intimate pretty soon. He knows I have hpv because he's looked at my pap results. He also knows I've recently been tested and everything else is negative. But yet, he continues to say he wants to have sex. Even without a condom. He's aware of the virus & how it spreads obviously. But it doesn't seem to bother him. Does he not care about getting it? Has anyone else's partner not cared if they caught hpv from you? I'm just wondering.
