Anyone scared of 20 week anatomy scan?

Hi Ladies!
I have my 20 week scan this Friday and I literally haven’t been able to sleep for days because I’m so stressed. I’m just so worried they are going to find something wrong with my little girl. 
The last two pregnancies everything was fine till I went to the US. First one, baby didn’t have HB. Second one, they found fatal genetic abnormalities. 
I want to be excited to see my baby girl, but I’m just so worried I’m going to get bad news. Anyone else relate???

As my husband keeps saying, “healthy is the default. Anything else is an exception.” And it really helps me when I feel worried or stressed that something will go wrong.

I can relate! Mine is also on Friday and I am freaking out. I lost my first baby at 20 weeks and 3 days, a few days before my anatomy scan. I’m freaking out and feel sick to my stomach. Been praying non stop that everything is ok with my baby boy!

💯 normal to feel that way. I was the same at my 20week scan as I had a mmc last year. But soon as they said everything is find and normal. I’ve started to relax a lot more now and trying to enjoy this pregnancy

I’m so ready for my anatomy scan. It will make me feel at ease knowing what’s going on with my little one. It can be scary but I dont like the unknown and waiting.

I feel it’s normal to worry especially when things happen in the past . I’m sorry you went though that. Try to have happy positive thoughts, I know easier said then done but it could help lift some of the stress for you . I was nervous with my scan as well, had mine last week . This pregnancy I’m on blood thinners and have been very nervous about everything . I’ll pray all goes well for you at your scan!
