To those who have christened your child, at how many months? I'm sure if there's a certain time or you can choose when you want

Months? We baptized our infant at 3 weeks. No sense in delaying something so important by waiting months.

You can choose whenever you want. We wanted to baptize our kids in the church we both grew up in, where all our families still live but we don’t. With our first, it was at 6 weeks because that’s when we visited family after she was born and we didn’t know when we’d be back. With our 2nd, it wasn’t until closer to 6 months just because of the timing. With this 3rd it will likely be closer to the 6 month mark again because I want my brother and SIL to be the godparents this time and they’re having a baby right around when we plan to visit in July so I don’t want to do it then. Next visit likely won’t be until either thanksgiving or Christmas so baby will already be 6 months
