Left side pain

For almost 2 years I've noticed that I start to get sharp pains on the left side of my lower abdomen before and during and after my period. But its gotten worse and it hurts more of course when I'm on my.period. it's a sharp pain only on the left side. They come mostly on the same day every month, not on birth control, have a 2 year old, and it's a sharp pain, I'm a heavy bleeding and get severely bloated, cravings and fatigued. But I was wondering if anyone else got severe left sharp pain ? It's even lasted almost 2 weeks after my period sometimes.
