When will I ovulate after birth control!?

Hi! I stopped taking my birth control at the brining of March. My husband and I are trying now but I’m nervous I have some underlying hormone issues. I got my period about a month and a half after stopping BC. Is that a good sign I might start ovulating again soon? I heard it can take a few months to start ovulating, but not sure! Any insights or guidance on what you all experienced would be helpful!

From my experience it just depends on your body and what birth control you were on. 
 I was on the mini pill for a year from May 2018 to May 2019 and it took me two months to get my period back 
I got the mirena put in September 2019 and only kept it in for four months (had nonstop bleeding) and I didn’t get my period back for almost a year. 
I was on the sprintec-lo pill for 7 months and got off of it in February, got my period 2 weeks later, ovulated that cycle and then found out last month I was pregnant.
